We specialize in hand-crafted Timber Frame structures, notched utilizing traditional mortise and tennon joinery, secured with hardwood pegs. These frames can become spectacular homes, cottages, additions, front entrances, gazebos on decks, or focal points in your perennial gardens.
The White Pine timbers that are most commonly used are re-forested, and provided by local sawmills in the Holland-Chatsworth area. Reclaimed species are also resawn into timbers, then notched into homes, "great rooms" and verandas.
We can also provide tongue & groove for ceilings or 2nd floor flooring, heavy timber stairs, guards and railings, trim and baseboard, live edge tables and benches, and even some trees for landscaping when the construction is complete.
If you already have architectural plans drawn up, or are still in need of drawings, we can put you in touch with the design team that will be able to put your dreams and ideas to paper. Existing plans may need to be altered slightly to accommodate the timber frame requirements. Completed plans will then be stamped by a registered engineer, familiar with timber frame designs.
